And there's no better spot from which to start exploring than the Regent Park Apartments, on Sandy Bay, one of the biggest and most beautiful harbours in Australia, and right in the centre of Hobart. Of course, as a capital city Hobart also has a great shopping district and a bustling nightlife, so if you're more interested in the faster paced life you won't be disappointed. The Regent Park Apartments offer one bedroom, sleeping up to four people, or two bedrooms, with accommodation for six. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher and microwave. Communal laundry facilities are on site. Tasmania's compact size means you're always within a short drive of anything. And there's plenty on offer! Nearly half of the state is unspoilt wilderness, so there are plenty of outdoor activities, including bushwalking, mountain climbing, canoeing, caving and of course fishing.
