Absolute Nakalay Beach Resort
Equatorial Hill Resort, Cameron Highlands

Perched at 1,628 meters above sea level, surrounded by majestic mountains and gentle undulating valleys, Equatorial Cameron Highlands is the only resort situated at the highest accessible point of highlands.  Spread over 13 acres, the Tudor styled resort offers 141 attractive, self-contained low rise apartment suites and 268 superior rooms, deluxe rooms and suites in the hotel tower that offer breathtaking views of the highland landscapes. Cameron Highlands is Malaysia's premier hill resort location. Located in the mountainous spine, known as Banjaran (mountain range) Titiwangsa, in the Pahang state. Named after William Cameron, a colonial government surveyor who discovered the plateau during a mapping expedition in 1885. The fame of Cameron Highlands then grew during the colonial era when British planters realised the potential of its fertile mountain slopes for growing tea, then a prized commodity. Still home to many tea plantations, the area is also known as a major supplier of legumes and vegetables to both Malaysia and Singapore with its many farms, and is one of Malaysia's prime tourist destinations. The scenic and lush road up to Cameron Highlands is dotted with fruit, flower and vegetable farms. While vendors, souvenir and handicraft stalls, and the Orang Asli settlement add to the enchantment, this picturesque setting is completed by flourishing tea plantations, which blanket the undulating hills. An indoor heated swimming pool is located in the Equatorial Hill Resort. Apart from 4 Food and Beverage outlets in the hotel tower, recreational facilities include a gymnasium, squash, floodlit tennis courts, and sepak takraw court. Beyond the resort, be in touch with nature whether it to be on the 18-hole, 71 par 6106 yard public golf course, nature/countryside tours, outdoor ‘fun’ activities (such as telematches) or jungle trekking and adventure tours.
