Absolute Nakalay Beach Resort
Club Paihia, Bay Of Islands (North Island)

Club Paihia is located at Paihia in the subtropical Bay of Islands in the north of New Zealand. The resort is nestled on a hillside in native bush about half a kilometre back from the main commercial block, wharf and village green at Paihia. It contains 54 units, of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Site facilities include a swimming pool complex, tennis court, numerous spa pools, BBQ areas, lounge, and playground for children, bicycles, orchard house and forest board-walk, and an onsite tour advisory and booking service. Club Paihia & the Bay Of Islands provide a feast of activities for the holiday maker. The resort is situated on a hill, so there are many steep inclines within the resort. In the studio units there will be either a "Murphy bed" which pulls down from the wall or a fixed queen bed. The region has many nautical activities including the beach, boating, windsurfing and deep sea fishing (all only 2 blocks from the resort). The Bay Of Islands area also boasts many historical sites and walking tracks. A mild climate all year round makes this the ideal holiday destination. The Bay of Island's transparent waters are one of the favourite playgrounds for lover of everything aquatic – including diving, sailing, boating and swimming with dolphins. The Bay is renowned for superb diving spots, where exotic fish crowd around its reefs and mangrove estuaries. The Poor Knights Island Marine Reserve, just offshore from Tutukaka, has been nominated by the famous Jacques Cousteau as one of the world's top five diving locations. To enjoy the abundance of birdlife, dolphins and even whales around the Bay you can join a 'Hole in the Rock' cruise that will take you through that famous landmark in the outer reaches of the Bay.
